It's surprising how gentle and kind she looks in this picture and yet we all know that is totally not the case on the battlefield. I about died laughing when I found the He-Man and She-Ra series on YouTube and have a certain respect for people who express that they clearly enjoyed the show by drawing its characters. Excellent job!
Go Sheera! You were not the best hero - but you were the only strong female role model I had! Nice rendition, bu seeing Swiftwind again makes me wonder for the 100th time, why the hell did he have to talk? -_-
this is a really beautiful pic. Great, gentle pencils and soft colouring work really well together. I love how you adjust your colouring style from drawing to drawing to suit the subject matter and composition. That's really cool. And the world needs more great She-Ra art like this. Thanks for all your hard work, man!
I didn't think people remembered She-Ra and now that you say a DVD has come out, I must go a-searching! I have the doll and the horse figurine - and you brought such good memories back. Including the one where I thought She-Ra was He-Man's girlfriend when they were really siblings... *shakes head in embarrassment*
Yup, yup - you do her wonderful justice! I love the composition, it's peaceful, yet you know She-Ra's powerful.
I would have assumed you'd sooner ran into this same drawing coloured by the parasite eve. I think she was one of the first people to colour it, and that was floating on the net for a while, before I tried to make my version.
Oddly though I ran into yours first as it was linked through a forum thread... Eve's I didn't run into until I started digging through the pages fanart section... Still I must say your is better (in my small opinion)
